FAITH AND FASTING

Praise the Lord! We have completed 48 hours of fasting and praying during our 3-day fast for America and the 2020 election. Only 24 hours more to go, wrapping around 5:00 PM EST/4:00 PM CST on Tuesday, November 3. We pray you are doing well and sensing the blessing and grace of the Lord flowing to you!

We want to remind everyone that Jonathan Cahn has also issued a nationwide call to the people of God to fast and pray for the election tomorrow, Nov 3. We are very excited how many people will answer that call – the more prayer/fasting power, the better! If Pastor Cahn posts any prayer points or encouragement, we will post them separately tomorrow.

Today has been a powerful day with the Lord for us at Faith and Fasting. We pray it has been for you, also. Please join and let us unite our hearts in prayer, approaching the throne room of God for our beloved nation, America, during this last 24 hours of fasting:

Heavenly Father, we praise and adore You, bow down before You and only You. Fill us with the precious Holy Spirit of Christ as we surrender completely to You.

Lord, forgive us for our corporate sin of blindness and unbelief to Your Word and ways. Open our eyes, call us to repentance by Your compassion. “Quicken the people of God to fear the Lord, so that the Sun of Righteousness may arise with healing in His wings” (Mal. 4:2 adapted from John Eckhardt’s, Prayers That Bring Healing).

Loose and separate those in leadership in our nation who will not bend the knee to You, Lord, whose heart and plans are wrapped in the foolishness of hell and not in the wisdom of the Kingdom of God. Cut them off from the land of the living. Prevent them from impacting more generations in America.

Guard President Trump’s protective ministry to Your nation four more years and further his ability to accomplish Your plans for us by increasing Your people who support him in offices of power.

Father, tighten Your grip on the Senate and strengthen Your people in the midst. Raise another generation of godly men and women who will hear the call to public service and serve You and Your land in honor and truth for years to come.

Lord, reclaim the House of Representatives as soon as possible. Remove all in power there whose hearts are filled with darkness, deceit and greed. Put back in power those who walk in Your ways, who honor Your heart and wise principles for this land.

Holy One, expose and bring to justice every swamp creature and remove their presence far from our American “house”. Guard against them returning and thereby secure future generations from their evil intentions.

Father, repair the damage left behind by the swamp’s hold on places of power for so long. Destroy every wicked altar they’ve built.

Shred the power of every person aligned with Baal, who are against God’s plan for this nation. Lead our people to vote them out and leave them in confusion. Bring justice to all who’ve committed crimes against Your people and nation.

Lord, move Heaven and earth to set in motion a takedown of the altars of Baal in America, the ancient evil duplicated in every modern abortion clinic, whose evil priests are mirrored in the wicked actions of every abortion doctor and staff. Demolish this stronghold of hell in our nation, and loose respect for life once again from sea to shining sea.

Holy, protect our freedoms in America for generations to come. Preserve freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, freedom of religion. Lord, extend freedom of speech to the internet and social media, that suppression of truth will no longer be legal or without penalty.

Jesus, bring back integrity of journalism, commitment to truth and evidence. Dismantle the dishonest news media and prevent them from spreading lies and misinformation along with every entity that cooperates with them to deceive the American people. Tear down every network of deception.

Holy Spirit, be loosed again to flow all over this land! Bring conviction of sin, forgiveness, healing and restoration! Deliver COURAGE to Your people to speak out for truth and righteousness! Open blind eyes and deaf ears to hear Your truth. Restore justice and righteousness across our nation.

Lord restore truth in our schools and remove every curriculum of fallacy that currently haunts those halls and classrooms. Tear down every little kingdom of men or hell in our educational institutions, and restore respect for the word of God and Your precepts, that students will once again learn the ways of peace and truth.

Bring back an appreciation for the godly founders and their intentions for the American people. Let the vision and words of George Washington, quoting Micah 4:4, be true again across our beautiful land: “…every one shall sit in safety under his own vine and fig tree and there shall be none to make him afraid.”

Thank you, Lord, for hearing our cries and rising with healing in Your wings. We love You, we trust You, and look forward to seeing Your great promises for our land fulfilled. In spirit, on our faces before You, we ask all these things in the mighty and matchless power and name of Jesus. Amen.

People of God, may you be blessed with peace while you pray and seek His face in the 24 hours yet ahead fasting on election day, 2020. Watch and see what the Lord will do, and we will give Him all the glory!

We send and pray over you again now, to the American people of God and our family all over the world, the blessing of the Lord upon His people from Moses’ book of Numbers:

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26
