This dream was recently shared within another post, but the Spirit has not stopped prodding me to pull it out and make it a post unto itself. I believe one of the reasons is this dream message parallels or complements videos other prophetic dreamers have posted recently with messages of “brace yourself”. I believe the Lord is warning us that the rest of 2020 will continue to be a very bumpy ride. And we need to be prepared.
On Saturday, July 18, I dreamed I was on a boat ride with other people and there were dinosaurs in the water that I realized were man-made, like a ride at Disney where you see pretend creatures attacking. (This detail I failed to share in the former post: I asked, what if a T-Rex comes up suddenly in the water?) A lady on board told me the boat would appear to start sinking, but it would come back up and really nothing would happen. I understood it was all part of the show.
This dream was tied together with another dream that contained themes of voter fraud (on the part of Democrats – I’m sorry to those this offends but I won’t change or dilute the word I hear from the Holy Spirit). So, I understood the boat dream to be, at least in part, tied to the election.
In other posts, I’ve shared my belief the probable re-election of Donald Trump will cause more violent rioting in November than we’ve yet seen this year. [October 2 update: now wondering if Trump coming down with COVID is part of the ‘sinking’ feeling. Or is there more? Likely, yes.]
But, the boat ride dream was letting us know that we may feel we are going down, but in the end we will not sink!
We are not alone in this experience. Remember the disciples from the Mark 6 passage, when a storm hit their boat? They were terrified, but Jesus was the answer!
45 He made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while He sent the multitude away. 46 And when He had sent them away, He departed to the mountain to pray. 47 Now when evening came, the boat was in the middle of the sea; and He was alone on the land. 48 Then He saw them straining at rowing, for the wind was against them. Now about the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea, and would have passed them by. 49 And when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out; 50 for they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He talked with them and said to them, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” 51 Then He went up into the boat to them, and the wind ceased. And they were greatly amazed in themselves beyond measure, and marveled. Mark 6:45-51
In another scene from Matthew 8:23-27, we see Jesus literally asleep on the boat during a storm!
23 Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him. 24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. 25 Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!” 26 But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. 27 So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”
Don’t be afraid, people of God. Our Savior, Redeemer, lives up to His name. He is not panicked. Though we may feel momentarily frightened, remember, He is with us. He can walk on water. He commands the storm. And He is about to amaze us, beyond measure! Hold on tight – to Him!
Believers, please join us to pray and fast once a week (24 hours… one meal, whatever you can) for America the rest of this year. Remember Jonah and Ninevah. When they received a word of pending destruction, they repented, fasted and prayed only 3 days and were spared.
Let’s do our part. Restore our homes to true purity, innocence. Purge what doesn’t please the Lord in entertainments, relationships, and more.
