Jesus Loves You

Tonight, while sitting in the quiet and enjoying the presence of God at the close of February 14, 2021, I heard the Holy Spirit of Christ speak to my spirit and say, tell My people I love them. How amazing is He? He didn’t want us to forget His love on this day we celebrate as Valentine’s Day!

The love of God seems such a simple concept, doesn’t it? But so many of us, even those who do believe/trust Christ, still struggle to know we are loved by Him.

It is one of the most basic and foundational truths in existence: the Creator loves you. Jesus loves you! Today, let’s just take a walk through a few passages of Scripture to remind ourselves what the Bible says about His love for us, and let the truth set us free:

As the Father has loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. John 15:9

I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. John 17:23

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors though Him who loved us. Romans 8:37

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in sin, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)… Ephesians 2:4-5

And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:2

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work. 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

In this is love, not that we loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the payment for our sins. 1 John 4:10

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18

We love Him because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19

Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come… and from Jesus Christ… To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Revelation 1:4-6

Dear family of God, be assured today, our wonderful Savior Jesus (Yeshua) LOVES YOU! So much so, He held nothing back to make it possible for us to be children of God the Father, His own family. We are His own forever, and nothing can separate us from His love.

So, happy Valentine’s Day, bride of Christ, from your Bridegroom!

Friend, if you have never trusted Christ: that He is God, loves you and died to give you eternal life – to make you part of His family, will you believe and receive His love for you today?

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free. John 8:32
