Just When It Appears Over… God

This morning, I felt the presence of the Lord so powerfully. After opening my Bible, the Spirit led me to Psalm 101. That sounds basic, doesn’t it? It is! Listen to some excerpts:

Psalm 101 A Psalm of David

1 I will sing of mercy and justice: to You, O Lord, will I sing.

3 I will set no wicked thing before my eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it will not cling to me.

6 My eyes will be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he who walks in an upright way, he shall serve me.

7 He who works deceit (falseness, treachery) shall not dwell in my house: he that lies will not linger in my sight.

8 I will soon destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all evil doers from the city (a place guarded by a watch) of the Lord.

How amazing are His promises? He WILL bring justice, in His time. He HATES the work of those who do not honor Him. He knows who we are, the faithful. He guards the upright.

Those who are working deceit (lying, stealing, fraud…) will NOT dwell with the King. The time of the liars is limited. The wicked WILL be removed in His time.

Why does the Lord so guard the faithful and remove the wicked? BECAUSE THE CITY IS GUARDED BY THE WATCHMEN OF THE LORD!

That is us! The prayer warriors who guard the Lord’s land! We are the Watchmen.

Friends, the Lord is at work. We will do our part and stay in prayer, and we will let God be God. Sometimes it takes going through difficulty to really give up ourselves and let it all be on God.

A couple days ago, I shared a dream of coming face to face with the Grim Reaper. Later that day the Lord led me to 2 Corinthians 1:8-10, in which Paul reported his team was so beaten down they literally feared for their lives. So what did they do? They determined to go ahead and just consider themselves dead. Why? He said because they knew the God who RAISES THE DEAD! What faith!

That very day, inspired by Paul’s example, I decided to declare myself dead and defeated in this fight for the election, to leave this battle at the foot of the Cross and in His tomb with Him. My prayer was, if the One who raises the dead decides to rescue us, He can do so. But I had to die to my will and to any thoughts of my power, realizing it is about His resurrection power.

Well, this morning, just as I was reading Psalm 101, my worship playlist rolled to this song: Rattle, by Elevation Worship. I’ll put the video below. You have to listen to the words! Tell you what, I’ll print the words below the video, for those who want the short version.

Keep doing what you’re doing, Prayer Warriors, Watchmen of the Lord’s land! And let’s remind ourselves every day it is all on the Lord, He who CAN raise the dead if He so chooses. And if He decides not to yet: we will still trust Him. Jesus IS Lord and greater is He in us than His enemies in the world. To God be the Glory!

Rattle, by Elevation Worship

Lyrics

Saturday was silent
Surely it was through.
But since when has impossible
Ever stopped You?

Friday’s disappointment
Is Sunday’s empty tomb.
Since when has impossible
Ever stopped You?

This is the sound
Of dry bones rattling.
This is the praise
Make a dead man walk again.
Open the grave,
I’m coming out.
I’m gonna live,
Gonna live again!
This is the sound
Of dry bones rattling
.

Yeah

Pentecostal fire
Stirring something new.
You’re not gonna run out of miracles
Anytime soon
!

Yeah, Resurrection power
Runs in my veins too and
I believe there’s another miracle
Here in this room!

This is the sound
Of dry bones rattling!
This is the praise
Make a dead man walk again!
Open the grave,
I’m coming out!
I’m gonna live,
Gonna live again!
This is the sound
Of dry bones rattling!

God’s not dead.

My God is able to save
And deliver and heal
And restore anything that He wants to!
Just ask the man
Who was thrown
On the bones of Elisha
If there’s anything that He can’t do!

Just ask the stone
That was rolled
At the tomb in the garden
What happens when God says to move!
I feel Him moving it now!
I feel Him doing it now!
I feel Him doing it now!
Do it now, do it now!!

This is the sound…

This is the sound
Of dry bones rattling.
This is the praise
Make a dead man walk again.
Open the grave,
I’m coming out.
I’m gonna live,
Gonna live again.
Open the grave,
I’m coming out.
I’m gonna live,
Gonna live again.
Open the grave,
I’m coming out.
I’m gonna live,
Gonna live again!
This is the sound
Of dry bones rattling.

Rattling, yeah…

I hear the sound (I hear the sound).
I hear the sound (I hear the sound).
I hear the sound (I hear the sound).
I hear the sound (I hear the sound).

And the bones began to rattle.
(Rattle, rattle, rattle)
God said live (God said live).
Hear the word of the Lord

And this is what He said
Live!
Live!
Dry bones
Hear the word of the Lord.
Live (live)!
Live (live)!
Dry bones
Hear the word of the Lord.
Live (live)!
Live (live)!
Dry bones
Hear the word of the Lord.
Live (live)!
Live (live)!
Dry bones
Hear the word of the Lord.
LIVE (live)
LIVE (live)
Dry bones
Hear the word of the Lord.
LIVE (live)!
LIVE (live)!

This is the sound
Of dry bones rattling.
This is the praise
Make a dead man walk again.

Open,
Open the grave,
I’m coming out.
I’m gonna live,
Gonna live again!
Open the grave,
I’m coming out!
I’m gonna live,
Gonna live again!
Open the grave,
I’m coming out!
I’m gonna live,
Gonna live again!
This is the sound
Of dry bones rattling.

Live, live.

You gotta live.

God said live (God said live).
God said live (God said live).
God said live (God said live).
God said live (God said live).

And the bones began to rattle.
Rattle, rattle, rattle!

God said live (God said live).
God said live (God said live).
God said live (God said live).
God said live (God said live).

God said live (God said live)!
God said live (God said live)!
God said live (God said live)!
God said live (God said live)!

This is what He said:
Live (live)!
Live (live)!
Dry bones
Hear the word of the Lord!
Live (live)!
Live (live)!
Dry bones
Hear the word of the Lord!
LIVE (live)!
LIVE (live)!
Dry bones
Hear the word of the Lord!
LIVE (live)!
LIVE (live)!

This is the sound
Of dry bones rattling.
This is the praise
Make a dead man walk again.
Open the grave,
I’m coming out.
I’m gonna live,
Gonna live again!
Open the grave,
I’m coming out!
I’m gonna live,
Gonna live again!
This is the sound
Of dry bones rattling.

This is the sound
Of rattling
This is the sound!
This is the sound!
This is the sound!
This is the sound!
This is the sound!
This is the sound!
This is the sound!
Of rattling, rattling
Rattle, rattle, rattle!
And the bones began to rattle!
RATTLE!

RATTLE!

RATTLE!
