Oneseekingtruth is a wife and mom with degrees in Business, Church Ministries, a Masters in Counseling, twelve plus years experience in church ministry, and a big passion for America.

Biblical research and writing are her favorite things to do. Deeply loving her Savior, Jesus, she ponders the mysteries of His Word with awe and wonder.

In addition to formally studying church ministry, she has an undeclared Minor in Bible from a non-denominational Christian university. One occasional privilege of her work in church ministry included Biblical research for the Pastors she served. Today, oneseekingtruth is retired and independent. She does not claim to speak for any one congregation or denomination. She aims only to speak when the Spirit moves, and to stay out of His way and let Him shine.

Oneseekingtruth began Faith and Fasting in the Spring of 2016 out of a deep conviction that America needed God’s family to stand in the gap for our nation with prayer and fasting. Based on Jesus’ words in Mark 9:29, “This kind comes out only by prayer and fasting”, fasting turns spiritual strength up to maximum. She wanted to spread that Biblical secret of renewed power and protection to Christians both in America and around the world.

This truth goes hand in hand with 2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Many years ago, after retiring from traditional work environments, oneseekingtruth told the Lord she wanted to use her brain while she had time on her hands. Seeking purity, surrender and daily Spirit-filling, the Spirit of God began pouring revelation and insight in studying Scripture as never before.

After giving even her dreams to the Spirit’s control, oneseekingtruth began realizing she was having prophetic dreams and visions. For a lifelong Protestant, this was shocking. When the dreams and visions ramped up to constant in Spring, 2019, she began a journey to learn both their Biblical precedent and interpretation. This blog also takes you on that journey. Oneseekingtruth would prefer to always teach and share with no hint of political bias. However, the Spirit of God has included prophetic dreams in recent years that contain strong messages pertaining to national issues and political leaders or candidates. She shares what He reveals with reluctance at times, but always aiming to be faithful to His gift and calling.

Faith and Fasting has occasionally included video or messages from other prophets or leaders resonating with the people of God. We will be welcoming to different denominations though we may not always agree on every point of doctrine.

Remember, Scripture (Joel 2 and Acts 2) tells us prophecy will increase in the end times as the Spirit is poured out upon the body of Christ, so we must make room for more of us to be receiving these gifts. Let’s give each other grace and learn together. Finally, be aware new dreamers and prophets are learning to navigate a different world of symbols and messages from the Spirit. If any person is found to be in error, including us, we will acknowledge it.
