Friends, today we ask for all praying readers to join us in prayer for Sheridan County, Wyoming. Firefighters there have been battling a terrible wild fire for weeks. While October is usually a rainy month for them, there is no rain in the forecast to date. The fire is still 0% contained and has already burned over 50,000 acres and threatens animals and nearby towns with smoke inhalation and fire damage.
Take a look at some of the photos posted online:

Let’s pray for them now:
Heavenly Father, we praise You, mighty God! Nothing is too big for You. We yield all to You now and ask You to intervene in Wyoming for Your land and people against this wild and uncontained fire. Lord, comfort Your people, get them to safety. Please stand between them, their goods and livestock, and imminent destruction from the Elk Fire. Please send rain! Bring more help, and give them victory. We trust You. We know You are the God who brings beauty from ashes, and You are the Lord who speaks one word and the sea is calmed. Show us Your strength and power now over this blaze in Wyoming. Let Your people see hope and deliverance from You now. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus! Amen.
Thank you for joining us to lift up our friends and family in Wyoming! God bless all,
