FAITH AND FASTING

For more content, search out full interviews with Rabbi Cahn on YouTube about his book. The seriousness of this subject cannot be overstated. There is a full scale, seen and unseen invasion happening. Are you aware of it? We are at war and many of us don’t even know it, perhaps don’t want to know.

For those of us who are aware, sadly most of us say nothing out of fear of being attacked, of appearing unloving, or of disrespecting the freedom of others to live and influence as they choose. And they ARE influencing, and it is spreading. Wake up!

Rabbi Cahn reveals the ancient SOURCE of the paganism and perversions allowed to come flooding into our nation in recent years/decades and the truth is staggering, mind blowing. We have got to recognize the significance of what we’ve allowed and about what we’ve fallen silent.

You’ve probably heard well-meaning believers say any of the following: Well, I don’t like politics. I just believe in living my faith quietly and loving all people.

Yes, it is beautiful and godly to live with love toward all, and I encourage it. First and foremost, we must love people and share the love of Christ with them, pray for their salvation. But, we are not only to love and witness. We are also SALT and LIGHT.

You are the salt of the earth: but if the salt has lost his SAVOR, how shall the earth be salted? It is therefore good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden underfoot of men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. (Jesus, in MAT 5:13-14)

Do you know what the word used here, SAVOR, means in the original language? “Flat, tasteless, insipid, passive, and foolish.” (Strong’s Greek Bible Dictionary) Wow! This is not how God’s people are to live. And when we become this, you see the result He forewarned: we are good for nothing but to be trampled.

Full-flavored salt stings when it is poured into an open wound! Light makes invading critters run when it is suddenly shined into dark places.

Remember, we are called to love, but we are also called to SPEAK TRUTH IN LOVE. They go hand in hand. Love. Speak Truth. But, don’t do one without the other.

If you find you cannot speak on a subject with love, then wait. Pray for the subject/target of your speech until you feel the flow of His love for them. Then, once you love, speak truth IN love. Of course, allow the Spirit to be in control and He will give you discretion about timing. 1) Surrender 2) Pray and 3) Speak when and how the Spirit leads.

When we stay silent while Satan’s full invasion is happening to our nation, we’ve crossed a line into foolish passivity. Recognize the voices, even those appearing innocent and well-meaning, encouraging us to just go back to sleep and stop empowering them to dull our influence for the Kingdom of God. They are suppressing the Spirit’s calling for us to be salt and light. They hinder the Spirit from using us for His kingdom.

We will not take back our nation unless we 1) cleanse our homes, personal lives and churches, 2) surrender ourselves daily – personally and corporately in the body of believers – to the Holy Spirit of Christ and learn His voice and ways, then 3) fast regularly, and 4) join with other believers in surrender and prayer AND FASTING for our nation, naming the sources of attack and casting them out together in the authority of Christ, in the full strength of fasting and prayer.

It CAN be done. But will we? Or will we just do business as usual? God forbid, for the hour is late and the waters are rising.

Heavenly Father, We exalt and adore You. Forgive us, Lord, of letting the world and other people dull our impact, our ability to be salt and light. May Your people, the followers of Your Son, awaken and put away deception in Jesus’ name. Precious Spirit of Christ, fill us afresh and anew and teach us to HEAR Your voice. Lead us into the perfect balance of love and truth, strength and boldness, and unite us in passion and determination. All in the name for the glory of Your Son, Jesus! Amen.
