Greetings, Praying and Fasting Warriors! We pray your Fall is blessed and full in the abundant presence of the Spirit of Christ.
Twenty one days ago, we witnessed an event which rocked the Christian community in America. On September 10, 2025, Charlie Kirk was assassinated in public while speaking to a large crowd on a Utah college campus. Charlie left behind his widow, Erika Kirk, their two children, his parents, other loved ones and friends. Many more are still grieving in our nation who appreciated his mission for free speech and family values.
This tragedy gave us pause to realize we need, while fasting and praying for America, to mention by name the freedom warriors who fight for us every day. As we have seen this past year, they are literally putting their lives on the line to reach young people and everyday Americans, with messages of family values, freedom of speech, and for many of them, their message includes faith in Christ as their foundation. Many receive death threats ongoing.
To support these brave ones on the front lines, today’s post includes names of everyone we could think of who fights for freedom of speech and common sense values. We are going to call it “Charlie’s List”. It is by no means a complete list. Please add names in the comments as you think of others.
Not everyone on Charlie’s List is a believer/follower of Christ. Understand, we do not necessarily agree 100% with everything these individuals or groups say. But, to the best of their ability, we believe they fight for truth and freedom of speech.
When it comes to the government entities mentioned, we understand not all in bodies of government are freedom fighters. Many are against our values and freedom of speech. But, we mention them as a whole; they still need prayer to get back in line with God’s ways and will.
Freedom of speech is the cornerstone of a healthy nation. Without freedom of speech, little things like this blog go away, for one example. The ability to speak out against an oppressive regime or system goes away. We already see monumental suppression sweeping across Europe, Canada, and other nations to stop people speaking freely against oppression and abuse. This is tyranny. Let’s not let that happen in America.
With this in mind, below is the starter, “Charlie’s List”, of those to cover this month in prayer while fasting 24 hours. As you feel led, just mention them each by name to the Lord. As a group, ask for their protection, and for the protection of those they hold dear. Pray for their salvation (many on the list are not followers of Christ, though they share our love of free speech). Pray for their missions to align with the will of God – “on earth as it is in Heaven”. Pray for their deliverance from threats, bribes, and pressure from outside groups NOT in alignment with the purposes of God. Pray for their ability to keep making a positive and profound difference in America through their influence. Pray for any who’s influence hurts our nation to be removed legally and peacefully. Please pray also for each other, for all of us who fast and pray for our nation, for protection from hell’s attacks.
Let’s pray together:
Father in Heaven, You are holy, perfect in purity, truth, love and power. We praise You and thank You for lavishing us with your unconditional love and compassion. Thank you Jesus, for giving Your life for our salvation, for showing us the best way to live, in laying down our lives for others. Fill us, Holy Spirit, as we yield completely to You now.
Lord, You know there are many in our nation fighting for our values, for freedom to speak our values. They fight for truth and yet are attacked 24/7 by liberal media and many on social media. As You already know, violence is increasing by those who cannot win with words and influence. We are seeing in the news constant reports of people killed. It shocks the conscience and breaks the heart.
In addition, we know there is an international syndicate who wields unelected power, operates below the surface without accountability, and has no boundaries as to what they’ll say or do to maintain their agenda. Those people, judging by their actions alone, cannot be aligned with You or Your values. Yet, they would love nothing more than to stop all freedom fighters.
Don’t let them succeed any further! Untangle that maze of Satanic influence and destroy its influence in America at least, in the name of Jesus. Please stop all copycat violence, or the actions of spiritually and mentally ill individuals acting as lone wolves.
Holy God, we are in Your hands. America has no greater friend or advocate than You. So, we appeal to You now, while fasting and praying, for more deliverance from Hell in America. Please cover us, our loved ones and resources, for those of us who battle on our knees. Take down every rotten kingdom of hell’s principalities, remove those in places of power who align with them, and restore truth and freedom. Fan the flames of revival, an unstoppable return to Christ.
We ask all in the name of King Jesus, our Redeemer and Messiah forever. Amen.
