[Update on Jan 9, 2026. The Lord has revealed another piece of this dream, a huge piece. And, I am re-thinking the meaning. Please forgive my possible mis-interpretation in original comments, which I will not remove – all are shown below. I will bracket and italicize new considerations.]
This morning, woke from a disturbing dream. Believe it to be a warning that soon anti-Christ will be on the world stage. [Not sure of this now. Have an alternate, possibly more accurate interpretation theory. Read on.] Stay alert, followers of Christ, and do not be easily deceived. Stay surrendered to the Spirit of God, and pray for wisdom, for ears to hear His guidance, and eyes that recognize the deception of darkness.
Remember, Jesus said there will be MANY false teachers in the end, and great deceptions will mislead even those who follow Him. Those of you with children, help them to learn to pray in surrender to the Lord, too. Teach them to ask for His wisdom as they grow, to learn to hear Him well, that in the coming years or decades, they will also be ready to stand strong in the evil day.
This was the dream, today on April 19, 2025:
Dream: Woke remembering a dream scene in which I saw a person wearing white (couldn’t find a lizard image with white clothing, so don’t take the picture above literally) just removing an outer ‘shell’ of a human body, revealing underneath a lizard being standing like a human.
Thoughts: In Genesis 1, Satan deceives Eve in the garden in the form of a serpent. Could this be the anti-Christ? Could the Spirit be saying, anti-Christ will be revealed on the world stage soon, and will appear good to many (wearing white)? How long is “soon”?
[This morning, January 9, 2026, for some reason several lizard dreams came back to me, and there have been many. But, most had nothing to do with global events, so none were posted on the blog except this one. But, I realized a thread today. I cannot go into all the details now, but what I’ve come to understand and suspect is this is related to Catholicism.
Two days after this dream, Pope Francis died, on April 21, 2025. Not long after, a new Pope was chosen. Although I do not believe the Pope is the literal anti-Christ, the lizard creature dream symbol is not a good one. I did some study this morning in Scripture to realize reptiles were among the many creatures called unclean by the Lord and were not to be touched by His people.
I’ve long believed the Catholic global structure to be fraught with corruption. The mere fact they do not allow priests to marry has made it a haven for homosexuals and pedophiles. History and journalism has proven so and at extraordinary levels and revealed tens of thousands of victims, most children. Any Shepherding body filled with men caught in perversion and outside of God’s will is not leading the sheep purely in His will and ways. Too many are wolves in sheep’s clothing (or Shepherd’s clothing).
That is as far as I will take it today. We love several Catholic friends and family members and have never wished to hurt them with our views, but this is serious. This was God’s way of saying, “don’t go there… don’t touch this… it is not clean.”]
Let’s pray now:
Father in Heaven, You are holy, You are worthy, there is none like You, and none above You. We praise and adore You! Fill us now with Your Holy Spirit. Pour out Your wisdom into and through us.
Forgive us our impure thoughts and actions, those not in line with Your thoughts and ways. Make us clean. Deliver us from fear most of all, and from all residue of evil that plays with our minds and lives in attempt to derail our devotion and witness.
Prepare us for the unknown (and known) future, for all of the wild deceptions to come. Make Your bride ready. Make her wise. Sharpen her eyes and ears in the Spirit.
Do not allow false teachers and false prophets to deceive the bride, to allure her to follow a false bridegroom. Loose Your holy angels to battle for us at every opportunity. Purge the fake shepherds and wolves in sheep’s clothing from the pastures of Your bride.
We place ourselves in Your mighty and safe hands. We love and adore You forever.
