Hello, friends of Faith and Fasting! Again, Happy New Year and especially, happy new ERA in America!
In our home, we spent time today praying for America, for Donald Trump, his family and staff and their families, his appointments, protection, and more. I hope you’ll pick the best 24-hour period for you and join us at FAF in our mission to rout spiritual darkness out of our land, and to restore truth, humility and wisdom to our people.
Looking back over the past year plus, we are already amazed at the very specific answers to prayer we have seen in monumental ways. It is awe inspiring to see the hand of God sweep HIS nation in response to the cry of His people. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
I’ll admit I have not fully fasted 24 hours yet in February, but will soon this coming week. We spent much of last week down with nasty food poisoning or maybe food borne illness. Frankly, I haven’t had much to eat all week! But, we will fast 24 hours soon to fulfill our mission and support our nation and Donald Trump in prayer and fasting one day per month throughout his presidency.
Let’s wrap in prayer and know that we love and appreciate everyone in our precious family of God lifting America, Trump, or covering your own nations in prayer and fasting. This plan has power unimaginable and will change the darkest places! Remember, Jesus told the disciples that fasting was the ultimate spiritual weapon His followers could use to defeat Hell’s attackers. “This kind (strong, stubborn demonic enemy…) comes out ONLY by prayer WITH FASTING.” Jesus, in Matt 17:21 and Mark 9:29.
Dearest Father in Heaven, how wonderful You are! How glorious are Your thoughts and ways! Please forgive us our faults and secret sins where we derailed and took the path of the darkness instead of that of Your marvelous light. We surrender ourselves again now to Your Spirit as we do daily, asking You to fill and flow through us. Deliver us from the doomed ones, those unseen enemies of Your Kingdom from Hell, and from the influence of the humans who agree with their deceptive ways, in the name and power of Jesus.
Lord, keep Your eye continuously upon us, Your people, guard us against constant enemy attack and against persecution of socio/political ideologues and their false narratives and retribution. Please deliver the individuals and families of those who fast and pray for the nation from all attempting to stop them. Loose Your Holy angels to fight on our behalf and to deliver all curses and the demonic forces back to their source in Hell, in the name and power of Jesus.
Holy One, please place extra protection around President Trump, his family and staff, and their families. Please expose and demolish all attempts to hurt or destroy them, holding accountable all working against Your chosen team of public servants working for America.
Father, please stop the placement or advancement of all insiders to the White House who willfully work against the President to harm him personally or politically, in Jesus’ name. Instead, shine the light upon pockets of darkness which need to be scrubbed clean and give Your people on the inside the moral courage and fortitude to do the necessary work to restore trust and righteousness in our high offices and the systems they command.
Holy One, please push Your chosen cabinet members through to confirmation, and if there are any who will fail in their mission to support President Trump or put Your ways and America first, prevent their appointment from the start. Help us to trust Your process and increase our faith along the way!
Lord, please surround our citizens and nation with a net of protection against the actions of vengeful enemies, both foreign and domestic. Please continue promoting and protecting all new media voices (and some of the older ones, too) who are committed to TRUTH telling in America. Cover them and their families from unnecessary persecution and prosecution by enemies trying to silence them. Whenever they are attacked, let everything “work out for good”, as promised in Your word, “for those who love You”! Let everything the enemies try to do against You, America, or Your chosen leaders and voices in the fight to restore America to health and vitality, fall away to nothing and serve up the opposite result from their intentions. Bring beauty out of ashes. Bring blessing from the refiner’s fire.
We love you so much, Father, thank you for Jesus, for Your precious Spirit who dwells with us, our Immanuel, God with us… We adore You. We stand together now and agree we give You back the nation which You gave to us, and we say thank you for all You have done and are doing for her. May You receive ALL the glory!
