Happy New Year, friends of Faith and Fasting!
As promised in recent posts, we intend to continue fasting and praying for America and President Trump 24 hours a month. He and his team will need the prayer coverage as they tackle huge challenges in America for the next few years.
Those with us in our mission, feel free to choose whatever 24 hour period works for you. Just FYI, we decided in our home to go ahead and fast Noon yesterday until Noon today (Jan 1), bringing in the New Year in prayer and fasting.
It is a new dawn in our nation, and there is nothing God cannot do with His surrendered people laying everything down in fasting and prayer for the land He gave us. America is a gift to us and we will fight for her in spirit for every win yet ahead.
Today, let’s pray together for the hurdles of leadership transition and the inauguration:
Great God and Lord, we love and praise You! There is none like You and none besides You! We yield to Your Holy Spirit and say, take over our personal temples and our land, America. Forgive us the sin of ignoring or agreeing with systems of darkness seen and unseen. Cleanse and renew our spirits in Your ever new, true, wise and humble Spirit. Father, please guard and protect our incoming President, Donald Trump, and all near and dear to him, his sojourners in leadership and their loved ones, too. Let nothing challenge his inauguration, permit no plots to compromise his leadership to ever succeed, in Jesus’ name! Show Your great power and glory again, let Your nation shine for You once more. All in Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
