Just a short reminder that we continue to support our nation and leadership in fasting and prayer 24 hours a month. Watching the news pour out daily, one can only conclude that Donald Trump and his team need all the fasting and prayer they can get!
In our home, we are fasting today, but sometimes we fast later in the month as needed. Grace is our guide while we battle in spirit for our country.

Heavenly Father, we praise and adore You! Please fill us with Your Spirit as we yield to You now. Forgive us all moments of straying from Your thoughts and ways, times we intentionally or accidentally partner with Your enemies. Cleanse us and purify us, make us strong for the spiritual fight.
God, enemies seen and unseen continue to war in America and against Your chosen leaders. Please surround your team with a hedge of protection, with warrior angels to thwart every attack. Deliver them, their homes, families and staff from the plans and influences of evil. Set them free from attempts of blackmail, bribes, or threats, in the name of Jesus. Cut off wicked judges and co-leaders in league with Your enemies from usurping the authority given Your leaders by You and the American people.
Father, please pour out your wisdom upon America’s leaders in high and low places. Pour Your Spirit out upon America. Reveal pockets of darkness and corruption. Open our eyes to “friends” who actually plot against us for their own benefit. Let us not be deceived anymore, and give us the courage to speak up and refuse to be coerced by others who do not have our best interests at heart.
Jesus, be exalted again in America. Show the world Your unconditional love through us, but also Your wisdom and strength. Make us a safe haven for generations to come, and a place where Satan’s plans come to die. Bring more of Your people to the wisdom of prayer and fasting, to the knowledge of how to fight spiritual warfare for themselves, their homes, our communities and nation.

FAITH AND FASTING
