While I have not been able to verify this personally, I’ve seen this call to prayer posted all over social media by citizens. Even if inaccurate, it won’t hurt to pray, so we will post a prayer below. If anyone can verify or knows the original source, please comment and share. Thank you!
“We don’t want you in the dark, friends, about how hard it was when all this came down on us in Asia province. It was so bad we didn’t think we were going to make it. We felt like we’d been sent to death row, that it was all over for us. As it turned out, it was the best thing that could have happened. Instead of trusting in our own strength or wits to get out of it, we were forced to trust God totally — not a bad idea since He’s the God who raises the dead! And He did it, rescued us from certain doom. And He’ll do it again, rescuing us as many times as we need rescuing. You and your prayers are part of the rescue operation — I don’t want you in the dark about that either. I can see your faces now, lifted up in praise for God’s deliverance of us, a rescue in which your prayers played such a crucial part.” 2 Corinthians 1:8-11 The Message
Dear Lord in Heaven, we come before you together again, praising and glorifying Your name. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit and help us to keep our eyes on You and only You.
Lord, we are at the END of ourselves. So, we, like Paul, choose to consider ourselves dead in this fight. That way we don’t have to trust in ourselves, but will only look with hope to YOU WHO RAISES THE DEAD! We’ve no other avenue but YOU.
Father, we ask You stay between Donald Trump, his team, and all their efforts to find and expose truth and receive justice! We ask You to deliver us from the scourge of ungodly leadership in America. We ask You deliver us from the minions of Hell trying to usurp Your authority and radically transform Your nation apart from You.
Jesus, we are in Your hands, our wonderful Bridegroom. Thank You for being such a loving and amazing Shepherd to us. We will honor and glorify You no matter what happens. As we watch and wait, we commit ourselves and our trust to Your name and Your power. Amen.
