Laying in bed in the middle of the night last night, I heard the Spirit say, “Listen.”
Having learned never to waste a moment hearing His voice, I responded, “yes, Lord, I am here.“
Then, I heard Him say clearly, “Say My Name.” (This ancient One is so modern, so contemporary.)
I replied, “I Am!“
Next, I heard Him say, “Wonderful…” as if expecting me to continue.
I followed His lead and quoted the second half of Isaiah 9:6, “…Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
He repeated, “Prince of Peace”.
I’d been wrestling with stress and angst, and He knew exactly what I needed to hear, that He is my Prince of Peace! I’m thinking I’m not the only one struggling to rest and trust these days.
Take a look at the rest of that beautiful and poetic verse from Isaiah 9:6:

For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government (princely power) will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
What a sweet and amazing reminder of His gift of love, His power, and His peace!
This morning, the message of peace wasn’t quite over. When I opened my Bible, to my amazement, it opened straight away to Numbers 6:27, but showed me the last two words from the previous verse, verse 26, at the top left of the page. What drew my eye to those words immediately: they were the only two highlighted words on the entire page:
“you peace”.
You peace! The Spirit of Christ was echoing His word again from the middle of the night in just a short, two-word phrase. He was saying, My love, My bride, I Am your Peace!
Child of God, remember and SAY HIS NAME. He is our Prince of Peace, and He is speaking peace over His bride today!
I want to remind you of the Aaronic blessing from Numbers 6:24-26, and then direct you to the timely and anointed song released in March of this year from Elevation Worship, The Blessing.
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give YOU PEACE.
Stay in Jesus, people of God! He is for you. He does not promise peace to those not in Christ. But for His children, who hide under the shelter of His wing, you will have peace.
If you don’t know Him today, will you consider trusting Christ? He loves you as you are, He died to forgive you and restore you with the Father Creator, if you will only believe it and simply trust Him to receive that gift of salvation!
SAY HIS NAME!
PRINCE OF PEACE!
SAY HIS NAME!
PRINCE OF PEACE!!!

He is the Prince of Peace, Lord God Almighty.
